Lent 2012

These 40 days will go so quickly.  I’m looking forward to them though as some time to slow down.

This is my second Lent as a Catholic and last year I gasped at the suggestion of giving up Facebook, this year I’m doing it.  Along with my more recent favorite way to pass the time, Pinterest.  Additionally, since it is customary to give up food of some sort I won’t be having any soda or salt (adding salt to food).  I did salt last year also and it proved to be challenging since it’s such a habit, which to me is the point.

So, what will I do instead?  Ab exercises every day.  Additional workout at least 4 days a week.  Listen to or read at least 2 prayers a day from the Liturgy of the Hours.  So here we go!

Paul is still tossing ideas around, so we’ll let you know tomorrow!
